Lessons & Clinics
Lessons
Private lessons are offered to both adults and juniors of all abilities and are set up in ½ hour increments. Semi-private (2 players) and tri-private (3 players) lessons are an option if you're looking to take a lesson with someone else. Lessons are scheduled based on your availability and can be booked with any of our professional instructors.
Clinics
We offer adult and junior clinics that are set up in 1 hour or 1½ hour increments for 8 weeks. A clinic works 4 players with one teaching professional to develop all-around skills through instruction, exciting drills, and match play. Each group consists of players of a compatible skill level.

Junior Programs (ages 4 - 18)
Programs are offered to juniors of all levels, from the beginner player to the advanced tournament player.
Youth Program
Introductory, after school program for children ages 4 - 9 and is offered in four, 8-week sessions. 1 hour classes are held where students will develop:
- tennis fundamentals
- hand-eye coordination
- fitness awareness
- self-esteem & confidence
Beginner Program
For pre-teens and teens new to the sport and is offered in six, 6-week sessions throughout the school year. 1½ hour classes are held where students will learn the skills needed to play.
Junior Development Program
This program is held on Sundays for ages 8 - 18. It is split into the beginner, high intermediate and advanced levels and is offered in four, 8-week sessions throughout the school year. All levels run for 1½ hours. Rally and playing skills are developed through drills, point situations and match play. Junior members receive discounted pricing.
Tournament Training Program
After school program designed for juniors who are looking to develop and improve their technique, strategy, mental toughness and fitness in order to become a successful tournament player. Sign up is on a week-to-week basis. 1½ hour classes are held 4 days a week with the option to do a full week or 1 or more days. Instructors focus on footwork, fitness drills, point situations and match play. Junior members receive discounted pricing.
Junior Ladder Matches
Matches are set up on a weekly basis for juniors ages 18 and under and played for 1½ hours on Saturday afternoons. Results determine your place on the ladder. Junior members receive discounted pricing.
USTA Travel Team
We have both 14 & under and 18 & under USTA junior teams. Players must be a junior club member as well as a USTA member to play in this league. Teams consist of 5 positions (boy's and girl's singles/doubles, and mixed doubles) that play on Saturdays during the fall/winter season and Fridays during the summer season.
Summer Program
Designed for all ability levels from ages 5 - 17 and is offered in 9 weekly sessions from June - August. Professional instruction is provided for each age group/skill level. The Junior Development students will learn the basic skills and principles of the game. Tournament Training students will develop competitive match play skills. The program is held rain or shine, with use of our indoor hard courts as well as our outdoor clay courts. Early registration and family discounts are available.

Adult Programs
Drill Sessions
Drill sessions are clinics that offer the flexibility of signing up on a week-to-week basis for adults whose schedules are constantly shifting. These sessions are offered for 1½ hours and run with a minimum of 2 adults and a maximum of 6 adults. A different stroke or strategy is covered each week. Adult members receive discounted pricing.
Introductory Tennis Program
This is a special 4 week introductory program with our Head Teaching Professional. Each week is 1 hour of instruction where you will develop the skills needed to play. The program requires a class minimum of 3 players. A membership discount will be given to new members who join the club within 1 week of completing program.
Intra-Club Singles League
For members looking for competitive match play without the travel. Matches are set up weekly based on availability and level of play. Matches are limited to 1½ hours and total games are counted if the match has not been completed within the time-limit. Tournament style playoffs are held during the month of May.
Women's Round Robin
On Monday mornings there is a round robin for women at the 3.0 level. Times of play are 8:30-10am and 10-11:30am.
Men's Round Robin
On Wednesday afternoons there is a round robin for men at the 3.0-3.5 levels. Time of play is 12-2pm.
Travel Teams
There are many opportunities for members to participate in travel team play. We participate in the CMITA, MITA, BTC, DBHITL, and USTA leagues throughout the year.
Central Massachusetts Indoor Tennis Association (CMITA)
Matches are played on Saturday afternoons from October-April, with playoffs in May. The format consists of 2 singles positions and 2 doubles positions. We offer men's A, A-1, B, and C teams and women's A-1, B, and C teams. cmita.net
Massachusetts Indoor Tennis Association (MITA)
Mixed doubles and women's singles leagues are offered. Matches are played on alternating Sundays from October-March, with playoffs in late March. The mixed doubles format is two 7.0 positions and one 8.0 position. The women's singles format is one 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 position. mita-tennis.com
Baystate Tennis Conference (BTC)
This is a women's doubles league consisting of 3 doubles positions. Matches are played on Wednesday or Thursday mornings from September-April, with playoffs in May. An annual luncheon is held in May to celebrate the end of the season and to recognize the top 3 teams in each division. We offer the following teams: Division 1B (Wednesdays), Division 2A (Wednesdays), and Aces (Thursdays). mita-tennis.com
Dorothy Bruno Hills Indoor Tennis League (DBHITL)
This is a women's doubles league consisting of 4 doubles positions. Matches are played on Thursday mornings from October-April. An annual luncheon is held in April to celebrate the end of the season and to recognize the 1st place teams in each division. We offer a Division 4 team. dbhitl.org
United States Tennis Association (USTA)
USTA leagues are based on NTRP ratings. Men's, women's, and mixed doubles teams are offered. Learn more at our USTA Leagues & Tournaments section. usta.com

Court Time
Outdoor Court Time
NO COURT FEES and UNLIMITED USE for club members! We have 4 outdoor HAR-TRU clay courts that are available everyday May - September. Members can use the clay courts as often as they like without paying any court fees. For non-members, there is a $15 guest fee per person and a 3 visit limit. Membership is required after the 3rd visit. Reservations are made by calling the club.
Indoor Court Time
We have 5 newly resurfaced indoor hard courts that are available everyday. For non-members, there is a $6 guest fee per person in addition to the court fee and a 5 visit limit. Membership is required after the 5th visit. Court time is discounted for juniors/college students and there are no guest fees for college students (proper ID required). Reservations are made by calling the club.
Indoor Contract Court Time
SAVE up to 10% on the court fee when you contract a court and pay in full! Contract time is available to club members September - May. You're guaranteed a court on the same day/time for 36 weeks and will avoid weekly phone reservations by having court time scheduled in advance. If you're looking to play more than once a week, you can contract courts on different days. You have the opportunity to renew your court for the following season.
Ball Machine
SAVE BIG with our unlimited plan! The ball machine is available to club members on a daily basis and is booked in ½ hour increments. This is a great way to get extra practice or work on a stroke. Two payment options are available: a low yearly rate for unlimited use or the court rate plus $7 each time you play. Reservations are made by calling the club.
USTA Leagues & Tournaments
We are a USTA organization member and host adult leagues, junior teams, and sanctioned adult and junior tournaments.
USTA Adult Leagues
Competitive team play for men and women age 18 and older and is set up according to NTRP ratings. We have the following teams:
- Men's 3.5, 4.0, & 4.5 - Consist of 2 singles and 3 doubles positions that play weekly from May - July. Matches are scheduled on a weeknight based on NTRP level. Districts are played early August.
- Women's 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, & 4.5 - Consist of 2 singles and 3 doubles positions that play weekly from May - July. Matches are scheduled on a weeknight based on NTRP level. Districts are played early August.
- Mixed Doubles 7.0, 8.0, & 9.0 - Consist of 3 doubles positions that play every other week from January - May. Matches are scheduled on Fridays or Sundays depending on NTRP level. Sectionals are played late June.

USTA Junior Teams
Co-ed teams are formed during the fall and summer months and are divided by age groups. We have the following teams:

USTA Adult Tournaments
We host opens and a variety of tournaments based on NTRP ratings and age divisions. The majority of tournaments are scheduled Sat - Sun. Two sectional events take place in August: 4.5 W singles/9.0 mixed and a 55 W singles/doubles. Our outdoor clay courts are often used for spring and summer tournaments. Fall and winter tournaments are held on our indoor hard courts. Register for a Lakeville tournament.
USTA Junior Tournaments
We host many level 6 and level 7 tournaments throughout the year for multiple age groups. Most tournaments are scheduled on school vacation weeks and weekends. Mid week tournaments are available during summer months. Our outdoor clay courts are often used for spring and summer tournaments. Fall and winter tournaments are held on our indoor hard courts.
